Congratulations Wyong on what so far has been a successful year. M1, M2 and M3 all won their minor premierships and L1 and L2 both came in third.

There has been a number of problems with the original date of Saturday the 13th of March 2010. Central Coast have now offered up two more options for Grand Final day. The original date of Saturday the 13th of March 2010 has not been ruled out yet. So in total we have three options for Grand Final day

Option 1;

Saturday 13th March, as originally suggested

Option 2;

Sunday 14th March @ PLC

Option 3;

Saturday 20th March @ Wyong after the 12’s, 14’s and 16’s grand final

Just a reminder that all Raffle tickets need to be sold and ticket buds and money returned no later then Saturday the 16th of January 2010.

As most of you know the senior comp had it’s last game for 2009 last Wednesday (16/12/2009). On behalf of the Wyong Water Rat’s board I would like to wish all of you a very happy and safe Christmas and New year and we can’t wait to see you again in 2010.

As for 2010, those who aren’t away on holidays, we are going to try and hold our first training session on the 04/01/2010 so we can two swims in before out first game back on Wednesday the 13/01/10. That first game back will be at Woy Woy against the Wombats with M3 kicking us off at 6.00pm.

I would like to apologise to the junior Rats for not passing on the same information about when the new year kicks off but at this stage I am unaware.

16th -17th  January Wyong pool

Dear club representative/organiser, 

I would like to extend an invite to your club to attend the 2010 Wyong cup, to be held on 

the 16th and 17th of January 2010 at Wyong pool (As usual). This is the 31st year of the 

Wyong cup and we would love to have you along to compete and have a good time at our 

annual competition. The cup draw  will be restricted to a total of eighteen individual 

teams this year , to allow maximum game time and as such  entries will be taken on a first 

paid, first in basis. 

ENTRIES WILL CLOSE THURSDAY 7TH OF JANUARY 2010 

Entry fees: $200.00 per team  (Non-refundable) for the tournament. 

Note: This does not include pool entry, however weekend passes are available at the pool 

which allow you to come and go as you please. 

Social Activities: This year the Saturday night function will be held at Wyong RSL club 

as The Wyong tennis club is no longer in operation. The RSL club has a buffet dinner on 

offer or bistro style food is also available. Bookings can be made for dinner or you can 

just rock up on the night. Entertainment will be provided  

Accommodation: There are a number of places in and around wyong for you to stay, So 

if you would like any information or more details regarding accommodation please email

Welcome back everyone for the new Central Coast Polo season.

This year there is a new format to the senior competition. The under 18’s has been removed and replaced with Men’s 3rd grade and Women’s 2nd grade.

This season games will be on a Wednesday night starting with Men’s 3rd grade at 6.00pm, following this will be Women’s 2nd grade, Men’s 2nd grade, Women’s 1st grade and Men’s 1st grade.

For those of you who are not aware senior training has already started. Every Monday at Wyong Pool starting at 6.00pm. If attending training please be at the pool at 5.45pm so training can start right on 6.00pm.

First game of the season will be this Wednesday the 4th of November against The Entrance.
