Presentation Night – 31 March 2012 – Grand Hotel Wyong

March 1st, 2012

Presentation Night – 31 March 2012 – Grand Hotel Wyong

5.00pm – 6.00pm 12's -16's

6.00pm – 7.00pm Dinner break

7.00pm -12.00 midnight M3, L2, M2, L1 & M1 preso, a few laughs, drinks, music, dancing, singing etc

Please put this date aside and make definite plans to attend.

A lot of work goes into running the club and we have, I think, with all our fantastic members and hard working committee and coaches, the best Club on the Coast.

The new owners at the Grand Hotel have welcomed us as a family club they would like to support and as excited sponsors have already financially contributed to the club which helps to purchase all the equipment we need to service our 10 teams and flippa ball program. I will also be handing out a flyer at training and Finals games next week. The Grand Hotel has $8.00 meals for the kids which includes a feed, a drink and ice cream, that's great value.

Our sponsors have also offered to provide music for the evening and a courtesy bus to help get the stayers home at no cost for either. (The bus will cover an area from approx Warnervale to Berkeley Vale). We need to confirm numbers to finalise arrangements

12's – 16's -please RSVP to Stubbsie at pmhk95@gmail.com

Seniors -please RSVP to Ryan at privatedono@hotmail.com

RSVP by 20 March 2012 would be appreciated

Please don't make us chase you and if you indicate you are attending please commit to doing so.

Everyone welcome – The more the merrier

Results from Semis

March 1st, 2012

Hey Rats,

First up I would like to say a big congratulations to our M2 team who won their major semi and are now through to the Grand Final on the 10th of March.

As for our M1 and M3 teams they both lost their semis in good matches and will now need to play next Wednesday the 7th of March for a spot in the Grand Final. Once again I strongly encourage as many rats to get a long and support our teams. the details are as followers;

All Games at PLC Woy Woy

Date: Wednesday 07/03/2012

M3 VS Woy Woy at 6.00pm

M1 VS Gosford at 8.30pm

Last but defiently not least our L1 and L2 were unluky and lost their respective minor semis and are now finished for the season. I would like to congratulate the Ladies on what was a tough season. We only had a small playing roster, overall our roster was pretty junior and we also lost several players throughout the season. The ladies that showed up every week gave 100%, usually having to play close to two full games. I encourage all the ladies to keep swimming over the off season and we will return next year that little bit older, that little bit smarter and we will give some of those other teams a run for their money.

Wyong Cup Results and Thank you

January 22nd, 2012

What a weekend for our club.

The Womens and Mens teams both won their finals yesterday. Women defeating Gosford 7-6 and our Men defeated Lake Macquarie 9-5.

By picking up the double these teams have created Wyong Amateur Water Polo Club history. Never before has the club won both divisions at the one event at any of the 32 previous Wyong Cup tournaments, so a huge congratulations to both teams.

Thank you to all those who helped over the weekend, scoring, timekeeping, refereeing, cooking on the bbq, shopping for the bbq and of course supporting the club and our sponsor by coming to the Grand on Saturday night for the tournament function.

Your very proud and appreciative Pres

Happy New Year Rats.
Coming up on Saturday the 21st and Sunday the 22nd of January is the Wyong Cup, our major fundraiser. At the moment we are trying to work out how many Wyong teams to enter in the cup. So far we have a first grade mens team, we are hoping to enter a second mens team and a womens team. For this to happen we will need at least 9 players for each team.
If you are interested in playing please let me know ASAP. You can either send me a message on facebook or an email at privatedono@hotmail.com.
Thanks Ryan
